Post-treatment: Aftercare

After the treatment, it is generally recommended that you avoid intense physical activity, sunlight, using make-up or consuming alcohol for the first 24 hours to minimise swelling and bruising.

Your Doctor will provide you with a more specific and detailed aftercare plan.

This will also include a recommendation on skincare products suitable for your skin type to ensure optimum results. Also, a follow-up appointment will be arranged after 2 – 4 weeks with your Doctor to assess treatment’s success.

During the treatment, Doctor injects a medicine that blocks nerve signals in the targeted facial muscle area. This was my first visit post consultation where I was to receive my first treatment with Dr Dimi. Immediately I felt relaxed when greeted at the door, prior to the treatment Dr Dimi went through the procedure that I was having and made sure all my questions were answered.
