During the consultation, one of our doctors will evaluate if the treatment is right for you, considering your medical history, previously undergone aesthetic procedures, specific skin concerns and also potential alternatives to injectable treatments.

Post-treatment: Aftercare

After the treatment, it is generally recommended that you avoid intense physical activity, sunlight, using make-up or consuming alcohol for the first 24 hours to minimise swelling and bruising.

Your Doctor will provide you with a more specific and detailed aftercare plan.

This will also include a recommendation on skincare products suitable for your skin type to ensure optimum results. Also, a follow-up appointment will be arranged after 2 – 4 weeks with your Doctor to assess treatment’s success.

How is the treatment carried out?

During the treatment, Doctor injects a medicine that blocks nerve signals in the targeted facial muscle area. This relaxes the facial muscles improving the appearance of already existing wrinkles and preventing the formation of new wrinkles. Once the treatment is over, you will receive thorough medical advice on aftercare products, follow-up appointments, and what to expect during the healing process.

Is the procedure painful?

This was my first visit post consultation where I was to receive my first treatment with Dr Dimi. Immediately I felt relaxed when greeted at the door, prior to the treatment Dr Dimi went through the procedure that I was having and made sure all my questions were answered.
